The primary goals of this book are to introduce the reader to the principles of random signals and to provide tools whereby one can deal with systems involving such signals . Toward these goals ,perhaps the first thing that should be done is define what is meant by random signal .A random signal is a time wavaform that can be characterized only in some probabilistic manner .In general ,it can be either a desired or undesired waverorm.
